Water pressure restored following main break in far south Bexar County

Water pressure has been restored to most SAWS customers in the affected area (see map below).

SAWS crews will continue working on repairs to the damaged 8-inch water main over the next several days.

Major main break causing low water pressure in far South Bexar County

SAWS crews are responding to a major main break in far South Bexar County, generally south of Loop 1604 between Palo Alto Road and the city of Elmendorf.

Residents in the area may experience fluctuations in water pressure. Once repairs are completed, pressure will return to normal.
